WELCOME TO THE PARISH OF STOKENHAM WITH SHERFORD AND BEESANDS

We are a Church of England parish serving the people of Stokenham, Sherford and Beesands, along with Chillington and Torcross, in part of the beautiful South Hams area of Devon. We are located between Kingsbridge and Dartmouth, along or close to the A379. Part of the parish encompasses tranquil green rolling hills, and part is coastal.

We have three beautiful churches within the parish: the medieval parish churches of St Michael and All Angels at Stokenham, and St Martin of Tours at Sherford (both Grade 1 listed), and the delightfully compact daughter church of St Andrew, nestling beside the sea at Beesands.

As three distinctively different churches found in the heart of different communities, we offer our worship to God and support our communities, as we seek to follow and serve Jesus Christ in our daily lives.

The parish of Stokenham with Sherford and Beesands also forms part of a wider group of nine churches, forming the Start Bay Mission Community
